HighFlow Traveling Valve

The HighFlow Traveling Valve is designed to improve pump efficiency by enhancing fluid movement and stabilizing valve performance during operation. Conventional traveling valves can experience inconsistent ball motion, restricted flow, and reduced effectiveness in high solids, gassy, or heavy crude environments.

The HighFlow design incorporates a one-piece insert cage that provides controlled ball containment. This allows the ball to move smoothly within the valve and settle into position without erratic motion, reducing impact forces and minimizing wear. Fluid is able to move more freely around the ball, increasing overall flow capacity.

Cyclone flow technology introduces a low pressure zone within the center of the cage, allowing higher pressure fluid to move around the ball while directing solids away from the seat area. This reduces debris interference and helps maintain consistent sealing performance over time.

The valve is designed to promote fast and direct ball seating during operation, improving closure timing and overall pump effectiveness. This is particularly beneficial in heavy crude applications where valve response can impact production.

A near-zero clearance between the ball and cage helps prevent sticking in high solids conditions while also reducing the likelihood of gas locking in gassy environments. The result is more stable valve operation and improved performance throughout the pump cycle.
