The True Test Tool is a downhole corrosion monitoring solution designed to identify corrosion conditions before they lead to failure or damage. Traditional monitoring methods rely on weight loss coupons placed at or near the wellhead, where the data collected often does not reflect the actual conditions affecting downhole tubulars and pumps.
By measuring corrosion directly within the well, the True Test Tool provides a more accurate representation of subsurface conditions. During routine pulling operations, operators can establish true downhole corrosion rates, allowing for a clearer understanding of how corrosion is progressing and where it is most severe.
